What is the Historical Data CD?

It is a collection of downloads from Stricknet's end-of-day data service, using the exact same format, so it is entirely compatible with the end-of-day service.

How many options quotes for stocks and stock indexes are included on the CD?

All optionable stocks, stock indexes and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are included.  Currently about 2,200.  All options, including LEAPS, are shown. New stocks are added automatically when they begin to trade options.    

What time period does the CD cover?   It begins on January 2, 2003 and runs up until the day before it is produced. For instance, if you place an order on a Wednesday, your CD will include data up until the close on Tuesday.    

What is the format for the data on the CD?    Below are samples of the Options Data and the Equity Data (which  includes stock quotes for the 2,200 optionable stocks & indexes).
